Just got mine yesterday from retentions for 99.00 + free overnight shipping. I still had a year to go on my contract but told them verizon would give it to me for 199.00 and credit my account for 100.00 so they said they would match it!! I might have been able to go for more but with a year still left i felt it was a good deal. Im going to try the Kellogg's rebate to see if i can cut the cost down to 25.00. As a current ppc6700 user im looking forward to a lighter load. anyone else here make that switch? Is it easy to get used to? Thanks.
bluestreaker .. did you call Retentions right off the bat or did you speak to a CSR and tell them you wanted to cancel your service?
I talked to a csr first, and basicly said I wanted to cancel my plan because Verizon would give me the Q for 199.00 with a 100.00 credit. she didn't try to help me she just sent me to retentions. I did tell retentions I was very happy with sprint service and customer service I just said I was offered a better deal at verizon. they were very helpful.
no problem, You should give it a shot, if they don't budge and are going to let you cancel your contract you could just say you need to speak with the verizon rep to get your number ported to verizon before you cancel with sprint. thats an easy way off the phone.
I just ordered my Q today, during processing a agent called me and said there will be a $100 deposit. I have good credit and have never had to put down a deposit but the agent said I will receive a $100 gift card in the mail in 2 weeks. So it seems like a roundabout way of charging me $200 w/ $100 mail-in-rebate. And I thought I was gonna' get away with paying $100 for it. Ha Ha!
$377.57 on Ebay with free shipping. I think I got a pretty good deal since I have an employee account. Thus, I'm not eligible for upgrade discounts. ;_;
On the brightside, I'll probally make it back with what I save with my plan.
Man, I payed for my Q days ago and on threir site it says, because the device is so popular I am going to have to wait another 72 hrs. for them to get Q's in the warehouse before they can ship. Seems like I've been waiting FOREVER!!!!
