If you are out of contract, say "ok, I want to cancel now. I believe Verizon will take better care of me, besides they have the Q for $99." That should get their wheels turning.

If you do this, be prepared to carry through and actually cancel. Sometimes, retention will call your bluff (particularly if they sense you have been "coached" on online forums such as this). It's imporant to be sincere...they have been bombarded with people trying to effectively scam Sprint into giving away equipment/service b/c of internet forums. They are getting smarter. Remember, retentions exists for those who truely are trying to cancel. If you talk it, be prepared to follow through.
