could be up to 4 hours to provision, however if you try to use it before it's fully provisioned things can get messed up. My wife messed hers up that way once, and the only way that we got it fixed was cancelling her account and getting her a new number on my account...

I know the feeling. I went through 2 defective phones within 2 weeks and finally got a decent working one. the first 2 I got were coming from the warehouse and I just had a bad feeling that they might have got a bad batch. I just told them I want to goto the store and get one there and see if I would have any better luck. sure enough, I did.

well im thinking it maybe just a case of programming too. Im not sure. I have never had a phone make me feel stupid but this one sure has. Im going back to the store this morning to have one of the techs there look at it. I know last night when I went to get the phone Sprints system went down so I wonder if that had anything to do with it? Oh well if it is a bad phone im going to tell them to give me a different model see if that helps, Its just aggravating trying to run my business and not be able to get my email.

It sounds like you're phone didn't provision properly. I would suggest a call to sprint customer service. Tell the rep that answers the call that your phone has a data provisioning issue, and that you need to speak with the department that handles provisioning. I used to have the direct number, but they change them every so often to prevent too many people from knowing them. In most cases they can blow out the information and restart the provisioning, in other cases, the phone needs to be manually programmed, which isn't all that bad...and you get your MSL too.

Thanks everyone for your help. Its working now they had to manually go in and add a ip address to the phone to get it to be accepted by the net work or something like that. But in any case its working Im glad I can always come here for friendly advice, one other site I went to had some rude person on it and would just be a jerk about trying to help people. SO THANK YOU ALL AGAIN hopefully I can provide some assitance to someone son as well and repay the favors
