OKay so I just got a Moto Q to replace my t650 and upon activating the reps in the Oklahoma call center were pushing me to get power vision, i said no and the rep insisted that he'll look through my account and find a way to get me power vision for free and call me back. So far no response.

Then i spoke to a call center in Idaho, i told him clearly i ONLY want to esn swap. He said his system wouldnt let him w/o PV but then he switched to some 'other system' which let him do this, got me activated.

Idaho told me that if I do have any problems with vision, it is bc I dont have PV. In any case, minutes after activation i was able to connect to the net (i even ran a DSL reports test that clocked me at 1mbps down -- nice). Well, sadly this didnt last long. 20 min later i'm unable to get anywhere online. It says 'Unable to connect'.

What to do!? The plan i have is from a while back, i'm paying for 15vision on my primary account and all other lines are free! I can't leave this! I'm tempted to just buy a used t650 (my old one is nearly dead, I guess i shouldn't keep it in my back pocket).

I'm not exactly sure what you want. Do you want internet access without Power Vision? If so, that's not an option on Sprint as far as I know, but PV is only $15 a month, and you can "upgrade" any one phone (Even one in a pre-existing plan) without debunking the whole plan (Just talk to a rep who knows that they're doing, a supervisior perhaaps, there is also a special number for when you're thinking about leaving and "want a deal").

If you just want Internet access for free, or pay by the KB.... well, I don't think that's possible unless you use Bluetooth to connect to a PC and surf that way, if that's even possible.

well i heard ppl have been getting away on EVDO without paying for the powervision service and instead just using their old vision service.
