GPS Use for Google Maps or other applications

Hi everyone I'm new to the message board. I've been reading this board for the past week though. Here is my first question. ( I did do a search but did not find a definitive answer) If I downloaded the google maps application and used the "find location (GPS)" will I be charged the $2.99 per day that Sprint quoted me for Directions vai GPS. I have the SERO plan if that makes a difference

the Q does not support GPS, unless you purchase an external GPS receiver..

geez sprint has really mislead me. They told me that I was going to receive Sprint TV and Radio. They also told me that I was able to use GPS but it would be at a cost. Now I need to call and figure out what is up with my bill. I picked up service on the 29th or 30th recieved my phone from them on the 31st. Now I have a balance of $49.70. If my charge is $37 a month is that my august bill before it happens plus the prorated month of July? I am completely confused how i can be billed this much. There is an "other charge of $285.99 and i had a credit of $105.99 for the Q I purchased. I hate calling customer service but this may call for it b/c this seems completely rediculous to me.

NOTE* I don't have an activation fee to pay so thats not in there either.

sorry, can't help with billing related question.. i'm a Verizon customer and i have to guess Sprint is as weird with all that stuff as Verizon so all i can say is good luck.

they see to do that alot (mostly cuz they just dont know)
but that is not supported on the Q and you should probably head back to the store or call a CSR and get your money back
