I just got my Q9c a couple of days ago. I have charged it twice! My old Q required charging at least twice a day. I have changed homescreens twice. And have done some of the registry hacks--disabled the message sent notification and changed my home page.
The Q9c is alot heavier with the extended battery in it and I didn't think I would like losing the thinness but I think I like it better with the extended battery and I sure like not having to constantly charge it.
There are some subtle differences with text messaging, that take a little getting used.
I was able to set up my Q to check my Outlook email account at home using Sprint as the outgoing server. I did something wrong though because I am not able to send email from my Q, haven't taken the time to figure out what I did wrong yet.
But so far, so good. After I got it I did a Vision update and haven't had any problems since. Haven't tried the Sprint TV yet though.
The look and feel are definitely an improvement from the original Q, you should really enjoy those features. Haven't been able to find a case yet though. I am heading to Best Buy tomorrow to see if they have anything to fit the extended battery.

You're going to love it! The color is so much better, I guess because of the sensor adjusting to the light in the room. I didn't think the keyboard could be improved upon but it is an improvement for sure!

The look and feel of the Q9c is an unexplainable improvement. Can't wait to see if you love it as much as I do!

I second everything she said. I thought that I would hate the q9c's extra junk in the trunk (the extended battery) but i absolutely love the feel of it in my hand, its so much more balanced. The auto light sensor is really good too. I thought it was so funny when i let my friend use it for a minute and i changed the overhead lights to a brighter setting and the screen started getting brighter....

I haven't been to EQ so much lately because of the lack of a need for support. Everything in this phone is perfect!!!!!

At first i hated the texture of the keyboard though, but am loving it now...
