Default flash boot mode fix!

Im still testing the fix, but it looks like I got it....will post the process in the next day or so....once im convinced it works.

yup, got it fixed. I will post the fix here this week. I am currently documenting everything and then need to send it up through the ranks at Sprint. Once that is done, I'll post it here. I was able to take 2 different q's that were stuck in flash boot and recover them. All data was lost, but basically i was able to reflash them. Anyone with a windows xp machine, internet access, a data cable and a known good q will be able to fix them....not something ATS will be able to walk someone through over the phone, but definitely something a repair center should be able to fix....stay tuned.

awesome....you are about to save a bunch of people alot of pain and agony shipping there phone back or taking it to the carrier....

im not exactly sure what the flash boot is, so will it be best for me to do it when your post the solution or is it something that went wrong on some phones i mean i really want to know because this isnt the first time i heard about this and it seems kind of serious

I believe that bootloader mode is basically how you load a new version of the operating system on a Windows Mobile device. It's what allows you to update what's in ROM.
