flash boot mode fix! - Page 7 - Motorola Q Forum

I had this happen to me yesterday. What do I need to flash with since I'm on US Cellular? And I have version 4.2 of Active Sync, where can I download ver. 4.5? Thanks

*uninstall it again
*Unplug Q
*Hook it up again. (Keep phone in flash mode)
*The Motorola Flash interface should now install properly.

*Then Open motorola software update tool
and Pick Verizon as your service provider and Q as the device.

Follow the instructions to start upgrade..

I followed these steps, and all the Software Update does is close when it detects my q. I am really struggling trying to get my q back.. ANY help is greatly appreciated. Thank you

I fixed my problem, I got an iPhone! Ten times easier phone to work than my Q ever was. I went to my local US Cellular store and they told me that I could send it in and wait 6-8 weeks to get it back from Motorola. So then I called Motorola and they said US Cellular should replace my phone. I then called US Cell and they told me they would send a replacement. Got it yesterday in the mail. Anybody want to buy a new Q for cheap?
