EVDO to 1X - Motorola Q Forum

Whenever I use my slingplayer, it starts off very well and then slows down after a few minutes of streaming. The speeds get lower and I go to my homescreen and see that I am connected to 1X. The thing is, the only time I ever see 1X is after streaming on slingplayer for a while. Could sprint be automatically changing my evdo to 1X after a certain time on constant streaming. Has anybody else noticed something like this and know a fix or something? Okay thanks.

not to belittle the issue...cuz, damn, im curious...but we need more data...does it switch over in a certain area? like are you riding a train and it switches over at a certain spot or something?

I'm at home using it and it is always evdo at home which is why I thought it was weird.
