And they probably got really mad about it too....This is why I am somewhat reluctant to ALWAYS blame the phone for the problems it has.....

I'm having similar problem - but with the volume on phone calls as well as WMP. I've played with the scroll-button volume setting, to no avail. Volume is very low through headsets (and only through left channel with stereo headphones). Volume from speakerphone (and bluetooth headphones) is ok. Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Paul.

I think this one relates to the profile settings. If you edit the profile you should be able to maximize volume for your headset profile and that should do it.

Thanks, but that isn't it. I did a 'reset to default' on the headset profile, and no change.

Paul.

The only problem with maxing out the earpiece volume is that it causes echo issues when in phone calls.

I'm SHOCKED the representatives from the store it was returned to didn't catch this. Then again I dread going into the Sprint or Nextel stores the morons working there are totally clueless.

People have been returning Q's over this issue for months now man, its one of Motorola's achilles heels on this phone, they make very little reference to this in the manual, which is their first mistake, and then it gets worse from there.......way worse.....
