Credit from Sprint - Motorola Q Forum

Ok here's the deal. For all of us that purchased the original Q from sprint im sure you read the post about getting the free headset and memory card that was promised in the getting started guide by contacting motorola. Well since motorola stopped the program i emailed sprint customer service. After a few emails giving them the link to their Q getting started guide off of their website they gave me $175 credit to order the Motorola S9 stereo bluetooth headset and to 1GB memory card kits (i got 2 so my wife could have one for her rumor). I HATE sprints customer service but this will keep me with them for a while.

Damnit, just when I jump ship from the original q to the q9c they go and do something like that for you..... Dunno... I guess i'll just settle with the free q9c

I tried this immediatley. Sprint advised me that since I bought my phone through Best Buy I would have to try to go through them to get the products.

as stated on page 28 i received the batter, batter door and mini usb cord, however i did not get a stereo headset or Mini SD card.

That is the original email that i had sent, it only took 2 follow up emails to get the credit the first one they said they would give me 50% off my accesories. i responded telling them it was ridiculous that i had to pay for accessories that wer supposed to be included with the phone, the responded telling me i would get a full credit for the accessories i purchased, the next email i asked how much the credit would be and they told me $175... then it was time to go shopping and just a word of advice, find out if your local store will let you make purchases and have them billed to your account... that way you dont pay shipping and you get the accesories right then.
