If you have Sprint, dial *2 from your phone. An automated system will ask you why you are calling, say "credit for dropped call." The automated system says it will give you credit. You get a $.50 credit on your bill for every dropped call.

...no questions asked?!?!?
when will they be like...ok you had 30 dropped calls this month....we arent paying you anymore...
I've never had a problem getting credit. I don't even have to talk to anyone - it's all done by the automated system. There are a couple of streets on the way to my house where my calls always get dropped. I just call and get credit. I've been doing it for years since one of my friends told me about it. I initially thought I would get credit in minutes, but it's actually $.50 every time it happens.

So to enlighten us a bit, how does the system know you dropped a call to refund you? Surely a company of Sprints stature doesn't run on the honors system.....
Don't know how they know. But I'm really not lying to you. And I'm not lying to Sprint either, if my call drops, I call in for the credit. If it doesn't, I don't. If you tell me how to cut and past the portion of my bill that shows it, I will.
One of the members here, I don't remember who, even had it as part of their signature. It said to call for credit for a dropped call, that it was worth $.50 every time.
