Can't dial #'s from Main Menu - Motorola Q Forum

Not that it's a big deal, but u can't dial telephone #'s from sprint Q's start menu. Wondering what other things are diff. from the vzw version?

Do you mean push Start and when the Start Menu comes up start dialing a number? Mine won't do that either.

If you're talking about when the application icons are displayed, just press the green START button to go to the dialer. Or did I misunderstand your question?

If you mean from the home screen, press the green START button or tap the space bar to go to the dialer.

Ok great at least I know that all sprint Q's behave this way. From my vzw Q I could start dialing in the start menu and it would automatically start the dial screen.

Mine is VZW (see my sig). Not sure if I've ever been able to do that as I never tried it before.

I can dial from the HOME SCREEN, but since I have the Start Menu view set to List View, the numbers correspond to the letters in the menu so no go. Not sure if it works in the gridview though.
