Default anybody get insurance for free???

anyone get the insurance $4 plan for free with Sprint. i was thinking about calling them, retentions and asking to have it for free, due to the complications with the Flash Mode Bootloader bs, with the Q. i don't think its fair to have to pay for a replacement service(i know it covers other kinds of damage) for a phone that maybe doesn't have all the kinks worked out. so if on day 40 of having the phone it blows up, i'm not screwed, as in not being able to get a replacement because i don't have that added plan.

File a complaint with the FTC, if you don't think its fair what they are doing to you, its probably not! Just my advice though...

If you do not like the phone and think it does not have the kinks worked out, take it back!!!! Why would sprint pay for your insurance? They pay a 3rd party for it anyway!!!!

"why would sprint"...uh, to keep a customers business, incurring plans/data plans is how they make there money. i love the phone. every device has kinks, but all knowing this, we should not have to foot the bill for otherwise useless insurance that some of us may never use. sure there are incidents where it is useful. but to waive the $4 or $7 charge, i don't think is asking too much from them to keep mine and others business at $$$ per month.
