Good news!!! Poster leepriestenator, over at XDA, has a working copy!! I'm still working some bugs out...but it works mostly. It won't let me set the sync to "as items arrive" which me thinks is the "push". So that in itself could end the glory. Messenger works as does Live search (PIE version). Which BTW is a homescreen usable plugin..too bad it's not hooked to the Live Search app.

Edit..figured out "as items arrive" trauma! Solution...pulled head out of ass! Seems to work Great!! Back in business...

I downloaded and installed the version that TreeFrog linked to. It took a few tries but finally worked!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH to all that helped figure this problem out. I have been pulling out my hair for days trying to get that #$@%@ thing to work!

yeah thanks again treefrog for your time spent in finding a working copy. I have installed it and so far its working. This time around though, it didnt remove MSN like before. Oh well, at least it works.

How do you install this new file? Do you have to uninstall Windows Live first? My Wm6 doesnt even give me the option to remove the program. I have a Q9H

I just tried to install this from my SD card to my Q9H, and it says the installed failed because of insufficient permissions This is really terrible service from Microsoft, why would someone need to install this program when it should download properly from MS when we choose to add a Hotmail address.

If you have Windows Live that came installed on your Q I don't think you can add another. What's wrong with "stock" one?

Yea...sounds like the server the Q9h WLM app is trying to authenticate to is having trauma.

This app on this thread is more for folks who's Q didn't come with it. I don't think there is a way to remove your rom based version. I've seen the server address's in the registry though.......hmmm.
