Is no longer beta. Has some added features to it a.k.a can now save to your contacts when you search for a business or send the details via SMS. Won't let you map a contact from your contacts like google maps. Not sure of all the added features will add to the list as I play with it more. I use this almost everyday for navigating to places and like it better than the other free ones out there.

You can map from your contacts as well as use GPS. I love it.

Something I discovered today is that the new version gives an audible beep when your turn is coming up.(using a gps obviously)

i dont see any options to attach your gps receiver to live search....

Menu -- Settings (first drop down) If you do not see it, you may still be running the Beta version. You need to pair the receiver with your phone then pick the Com port in WLS.

somehow under the menu setting it now says 'center on gps.' ill have to test it out tomorrow to see if it really works....

I didn't pair my gps with the phone(it actually wouldn't pair). Just selected the com and went to town. Works in Live ,Map4Pda, Google, and Virtual Earth

Used this to find a close pizza place today and have it delivered to a job I was working on. Pretty effing cool.

are there specific com ports you have to use or is it just trial and error...i have tried live and google....
