where is directory file

i downloaded a program and it says that i need to place the exe file in the programs directory, i have no clue what this is. i tried putting it in the program files/program but it still didn't work?????????

what program ?

you may need to create a directory under \Program Files\ and give it the program name.

how do i create a directory? i already have a folder with the this program name under program files.

and how did you get the program directory already there without the exe file in it?

in that case copy that file to the program directory (where the app is installed) and run the .exe using File Manager on the Q.
