I'm pretty sure RB's spot is secure

Also the OP was more than likely in a frustraded and a slight panic state at what was removed. I'm sure we have all been there at one time or another.

At this point, i'm thinking the microsoft progs that were there were some kind of tune ups/upgrades, like the correction for the different schedule for the time change. Didn't have time to figure out where furthre upgrades were at.

fwiw, doing some other installs, i learned that ActiveSync sucks at prog removal, does it without much warning and not very cleanly. The Q itself does a cleaner job.

I never seemed to have an issue with uninstalling apps via ActiveSync.
