I downloaded this free application(Cab file) to my SD card, but I can make it to work. How can you operate programs from your SD card?

depending what kind of file it is you might have to install it before use.

misread, open/start the cab file with the File Manager to install it..

It's a cab file and is already installed in the Q. But, it is in the memory card and not in the device, so it won't show in the start menu.

It actually doesn't matter where you install your software as far as you successfully installed it and got no messages of the probable incorrect work of the program as the result of installing it not into device, the icon appears in program files menu. Or, like in case with games and accesories, the icon may appear in subfolder of start menu ('game' and 'accessories')
