I've seen a few threads but none really answered my question....How can I get videos to work on my Q? What format should I use? what player? converter reccomendations? thanks!

first off windows media sucks, find out how to install tcpmp, youll have to get the audio codecs for it, i have a post somewhere describing it, i think its the moto q hacks sticky post

anyways, i found avi sucks big butts but will play alright on the tcpmp, it plays pretty much any file, but i found that mp4 works the best... Ipod video loves mp4 so i like to use the program videora

can't seem to find the sticky...can someone just post the tcmp player and all needed codecs? all the links i find on here are dead

so in my post i tell you that you will need this

unzip the audio codec file, then run the file named


aac.smartphone.0.66.exe

done

just purchased the core player, having trouble understanding how to get it to play some videos, help im a new jack at this

yeah, it doesnt do anything, what does the core player do?+

What kind of file are you trying to play (*.avi, *.mov, etc.)? Also, what happens when you try and open the file in core? Any message there? I can build you a detailed walkthrough for a small fee
