Utimaco Safeguard for PDA Personal not installing

I've just purchased this encryption software and downloaded the *.exe file on my pc. I've run the .exe file 5 times now while my Q is connected via USB and in all cases I get "Installation of Utimaco SafeGuard PDA Personal.CAB was unsuccessful. Ths installation file is not intended for this device". Does anyone have any clues? My carrier is Bell Mobility, (CDMA). I've followed previous posts to allow for installation of software on my device (e.g. Google maps, Sprite Backup) so I don't think it's a case of my device still being somehow locked, but I am not sure. Is it possible that the *.exe file must be copied right into the Q before attempting to install? Is there something tricky about installing *.CAB files? Thank you.
