Default USB Enabler?

On my Q, I had a program that enabled USB support so I could plug the Q into any USB port and it would charge. Now I need that app for my Q9m but can't remember the name...

Your Q9m should be able to charge from a USB port, except when the battery is very low (so I'm told). Did you already try charging from the USB port, and it didn't work? Sometimes Q's are finicky and require you to unplug and replug to get the charging started.

I notice that if I plug USB cable when the laptop is switched off, I can't charge. It should charge becasue the USB port is a self-powered port, and I have no problem charging in my previous Wm6 devices.

any idea?

I was just going to post that I think it made the Q work as an external drive as well.

Is there a version for WM6?

Right now when I plug the Q9m into my Mac Book Pro, there is no effect. The laptop does nothing and nothing happens on the Q. When I reboot and plug it in under Boot Camp or my PC at work it sometimes charges. Other times I get a message on the Q saying "the USB port does not supply enough energy to charge" or something like that...

I tried wm5storage and it never worked with my q9m. I hunted down the author's web site and got the lastest version and still no go.
IMHO another missing feature from wm6.
I bought an USB to micro SD adapter and just copy filed to the microsd card.

your message kinda confirm my suspicious that Q9h needs higher waltage for charging, that explains why it doesn't work on typical USB port.
