Default Updated Google maps 2.0.1.28

There is a new google maps update from 2.0.1.18 to 2.0.1.28, I did not see this anywhere so I figure you guys might want to check it out. it offer me the update as i started to do a search. haven't notice much of a difference yet, but still playing with it.

I know i've asked this before and had it all working but I can't find the old threads:

I just downloaded the new maps...i uninstalled the older one first...are there any settings that i need under the "GPS Settings"....its currently set to "set by windows"....is that all i need to have in order for the "use gps" function to work?

Just a tip..if you install new versions over the top of old versions they will remove the old for ya and usually keep all settings you had.

Question WLS or google maps acces cost $$?

I was in at a sprint store the other day and they told me I had to subscribe to their GPS service in order for Google maps to work. Is this true? I have google maps, and like many other people, it just sits there and says searching for satellite. Low and behold, it never finds a satellite. What should I do?
