TV Guide

After installing the latest version of Pocket Express I noticed that they were offering TV Guide software. Now I had tried this software before but it wasn't fully compatible with the Q at the time so I thought I'd give it another try.

Well now it is fully compatible! After a few initial questions, Zip Code, TV Provider etc, your TV Guide data gets downloaded. AS you can see from the screenshots below you can navigate the TV Guide, Search, Add Favorites and set reminders which arrive in the form of a txt message.

The application is pretty slick although the advertising at the bottom of the TV Guide page does take up a lot of space that could be better used to display the TV Guide better.

The reminder functionality worked smoothly too although this is probably only an app for those on unlimited data plans as it appears to connect to get the latest data each time you load it and if using the reminder functionality an unlimited txt plan wouldn't go amiss either!

Works pretty good! Been using it since this thread and like it. I only use it for quick searches (slingbox can be slow when searching the guide!) and love the reminders! I have noticed if you set a reminder for yourself and a friend you will get two! But it never misses...and you can set it for one episode or the series!

and i do not have Pocket Express but that TV Guide app was working fine on my Q1...

(i say was because i did not re-install it after my MR...)

haha..it was a couple pages deep in the search results! Took me a bit to find it!
