Default Trying Extreme Agenda - Few Questions

I'm trying Extreme Agenda. And have a few questions/comments.

Here's my questions comments, so far.

1. Seems the filter on categories is global. I mainly use the filter for task (I only show Today/Tomorrow/This Week, unless I am reprioritizing). But this means I have to turn off the filter to see any contacts.

2. I like the contact view, but miss the fact the with regular Q contact screen if I type "John" I see all the John's in my contacts, instead of the more simpler, first letter locator that it seems XA uses.

3. I know there's mention of working on syncing notes, any idea when that will happen? I use outlook notes to keep alot of reference information at hand and would be nice to be able to keep that synced. And when there is a sync solution will it work with Verizon's wireless sync or just Active sync?

I'm sure I will have more questions as I use it more but these are the immediate ones., Thanks

Here's a little background, so you know why I am asking the questions. I rely on task more than anything, very few appointments. I have my own "system" for prioritizing with categories (Today/Tomorrow/This Week/Next Week/This Month/Future) stuff listed as Today, isn't necessarry going to get done today, but its a higher priority than the others, but depending on circumstance I might finish something for list as this week while there are still items listed for today.

I run several small business, so contacts are categories by what business they relate to. Appoints I general don't categorized at all. If I have an appointment listed it has to happen so no need for filtering/sorting, etc.

Hi Pete:
I can't answer all of your questions. Okay, I can barely answer one, but the good news is that Birdsoft is active on this forum and will likely respond himself.

As to filters, I don't really use them, so can't help out much there. However, the contacts do allow for you to type in an entire name. It took me a couple of tries to get the rhythm (or whatever you would call it) down, but if you type in J-O-H-N in a fairly brisk fashion, it will bring up all your Johns.

On the notes syncing thing, I get the impression that it's hopefully going to work with ActiveSync. For it to work with VZW's Wireless sync, I think Verizon would have to implement that. Maybe Brian will show up and tell us himself...

HTH!

1. Yes, right now the filter is global. I will consider making it local to the view in future releases...

2. Yes, as Sulster said you can type in multiple letters and eliminate names just like the default application only it is based off time, so if you dont continiously type then the string starts over instead of using the back button to back out of strings.

3. I can not give a timeframe on this yet, Im not aware of Verizons sync so when it works unless it is based off the same technology I would guess it will be an active-sync only thing.

Thanks
