If you're stuck with a low bandwidth limit and $8-12/MB when you go over it like me, you might be surprised to find out that a basic shipment tracking page, which barely has any information, can be 80KB.
I made a webpage that might be of use to anyone else who wants to keep track of a package while they're away from their computer, at
http://www.richard-garand.com/mtrack.php - it cuts out all the useless junk, turning 80KB into 2KB. As an added bonus, you can bookmark the results page and jump directly to it any time you want an update. So far it's just for Purolator, but if anyone can send in a tracking page from another courier I'll add that.
On a related note, I've been wondering if there's any directories of smartphone-ready websites...
