Torrent client for Windos Mobile

Apparently it's a torrent app for your windows mobile pocket PC...

I tried to get it to work on my Q and failed miserably.

Can anyone else get it to work, or know of a torrent client that will work with the Q?

the Pocket PC's work differently and i believe software is not interchangeable.

In most cases, that is correct. I gave up trying to run PPC software on the Q, much was made about cross compatibility, but it really almost never worked, and when it did, it was half broken.

Works great on the 700wx though. It even lets you pick out individual files from collections, so you can have quick access to that royalty-free song you're looking for.

i am looking everywhere for a torrent prog but havet found one. that ppc prog installed for me but couldnt get past first screen. i bet someone could make a ppc emulator.

but anyway i also tried version 1 but it wouldnt even install. i have the java emulator installed but didnt find anything on getjar for torrents. am looking for this as my desktop internet is off for 3 more days. if anybody has an idea for torrents or how i could watch this weeks entourage ep give me a heads up ruthlessvillain@gmail.com

There are a number of torrent clients that you can access by way of your mobile device while they are running on your home computer. I believe that Azureus does this and possibly uTorrent. I can't unfortunatly give you more information because my web filter blocks it, but with a little research and creative googling you can probably get something set up.

Not going to help very much if his "desktop internet is off for 3 more days", unless I'm misunderstanding ojfan.

If you have a Slingbox with HBO On Demand/DVR recording Entourage, then you don't need a computer at all. This is probably not going to help you right now. But in the future? Something to consider setting up. I'm serious!

well, i want torrents too, the closest i have gotten was this...download wmtorrent.....download sphelper to navigate through wmtorrent...download jb5 to allow download of torrents, seems to work...but...really doesn't , this sux cause alot of vids out there are only available through torrents; ppc emulator....hmmm....kinda like esmertecs java emulator... that would be great!
