Thanks. What does it do? Show a dialpad w alpha so you can convert as you dial?

I read somewhere about the Q (I have Q9c) automatically converting to the correct numbers if you hit Fn then just type the regular letters. I'm pretty sure I tried it a couple times and it worked, but now I can't get it to work... Anyone know?

Hmm, yeah, I just tried to download the trial and was informed (before download, fortunately) that Q9c is not supported. Anyone know anything else about this? Any other comparable apps?

Thanks!

Default Current Favs

*Chronos Clock - Doubles as a screen saver that locks my phone; love that!
*GSPlayer - Free Media Player with very small memory footprint
*Audible Player/Audible Air - Listen to the New York Times every day with it
*BeyondPod - Great for RSS and Podcasts
*Esmertec Jbed - Make OperaMini Possible on Q
*OperaMini - best mobile browser
*Documents to Go - From what I've read, we Q9 owners are lucky that Motorola loaded this instead of the stock Microsoft version
*Papyrus - let's face it, the stock calendar and to do functions are horrible
*Funambol - free push email
*Motorola Q Flashlight - just used it to navigate through a power outage in the Washington, DC metro system; I was glad to have it, and so were the people on the stairs with me.

Default motorola q form

This is very good software. The software can automaticaly connect to the desired number if someone type the regular number.this software works like as speed dial to our phones.

I just installed this flashlight and it works but I am not sure I did it right because I have to go to file manager to get to it? Is there a way to make a shortcut to it? And while I am here can someone stear me to a "how to link" for dummies on installing these third party apps? And I have been searching but mainly I just keep finding new apps I want and not much info on installing them.

If the apps have .exe files you have to sync and run the .exe from your computer to install. If they are .cab files you can transfer them to the Q (WITHOUT opening or unzipping them) and then click on them on the phone to start the install process.
