Default .tiff viewer???

All my faxes come through an efax system that attaches my faxes in .tiff format. Is there a .tiff viewer out there for WM5? Thanks!

Yes, TIFF is checked. It's really strange that it doesn't work. It's almost as if Verizon has programmed the phone to only view TIFFs using its approved (not-free) file viewers. Hmmm...

ok, i saved a graphical file as a .TIF and also as a .TIFF, copied them to my Q and browsed to the directory/folder using Resco Explorer, both files have a TCPMP icon in front of the name and when i open them TCPMP starts and let's me view them with no problems.

i use TCPMP v0.72RC1

I tried the same and still no luck. I think the fax files must be some strange .tif output. They show up as .Tif as opposed to .TIF or .TIFF.

I will try to create a .TIFF in Photoshop and copy it onto the phone and see what happens.

Thanks for your feedback.

It appears to be the type of TIF file. The ones coming from my unified messaging system are not typical TIFs. I found a TIF on my computer that was created from a Microsoft program, and the Q opened it just fine in TCPMP through Resco explorer.

Now the challenge is how to get my unified messenger to create typical TIF files!

Thanks again for your help.

depending on how many you get... could you open the .Tif file in let's say IrfanView and save it as a .TIF ?....
