Default Threaded Texting App?

I have been looking around at posts on a 3rd party Texting appt that threads the texting instead of an individual message each time someone text you. It seem like all the 3rd party apps don't text the way the phone does though. These 3rd party apps want to connect to the data network instead of how the phone just sends them.

This is quite a problem for those of us whom have the phone with a data block. Does anyone know of an texting software that connects the same way the phone does but threads like texting together?

Looks like TXTMAN is the app, problem is it don't work once youve done the update on your Q. I tried the workaround with the dll files but the program still don't work. Just waiting for the developer to come out with a patch or upgrade...

If you have MOL2 installed, you might find your fix here

I have done this fix it does not work either. Ben the developer knows this and is working on it from what I have read.

i do NOT have MOL2 installed...just cf.net2.0.

I open txtman and get this message: an unexpected has occured

I have tried restarting, uninstalling, restarting, installing and the same thing happens.

I have a feeling like there is a step of file missing?

I have pretty much tried all the free Threaded texting apps (wow say that 3 times fast) and have not found any that work. TxtMan looks like it would work if you could get it fixed to work under the Update. SMSthreader looks ok but the integration is really lacking and once you receive a text it would not let me read it or send a reply. I think those were the 2 that everyone bragged about.

I have searched most all forums, Googled it and RE-googled it and there seems to be no other free ones or from what I can tell any pay ones that are just totally superb. I am really kind of disappointed in the availble free software for WinMo. As each day goes by I am really missing palm

If you have not done the update, I would go to their website and look under the FAQ's look for known issues are maybe even the same issue your having. There is probably someone else that has had it also and in that lies the fix. That where I would start. Just my .000005 cents worth lol....
