it remains a Java based browser so you will have to install Java regardless from where you install it.

(continued from last post above because of image limitations)

It looks like you can edit multi-line text boxes, so you can post here at EQ (I played around with the posting interface, but did not actually submit the post this time around) [here's another screenshot]:

(I was able to click on the text box and enter text through JBed's native editor);

It seemed a little sluggish compared to Opera Mini 4;

Navigation is interesting - the cursor can roam freely, or you can set it so that it jumps from link to link on a page depending on the direction you push;

To go back and forth, you click on 7, and then your browsing history comes up like a slideshow below the main page view (think of the slideshow view when viewing a folder in Windows XP) - you select one of the thumbnails of the prior pages you've visited and click on it to go back to that page. There may be a more traditional means of navigating browsing history, but I haven't played with it enough to find it [here are some screenshots of the navigation]:

(navigation menu - access by clicking #)

(clicking on 7 from the navigation menu brings up the browsing history via thumbnails);

(when you highlight a prior page, the main view toggles to that page);

It's in beta, so it's free.

Here's a couple more screenshots:

(clicking on the left softkey brings up the menu);

(start page)

I'll post more later after playing with it.

a little slower I think, and I don't think it supports video (but I haven't tried many sites - just video link on CNN). It looks promising, though. I need more time to play with it.

The only time that message popped up was when I first started the program. I suspect that there's a workaround similar to what ppl have done with the connection messages for Opera Mini, but I have not verified that.
