Default TCPMP on resources

My phone crashes everyday. I'm a heavy media user. And, it has occurred to me that most crashes usually happen when I am using Pocketplayer. I've also noticed that not too many people on this site use Pocketplayer.

I think this software is a resource hog. Therefore, I'm going to have to switch to TCPMP. I have a couple of questions. Is this software also a resource hog? Can you open up Word or Excel documents while listening to music for example? Can you play WMA-DRM files in TCPMP? Does it bookmark (smart bookmark?); meaning can you save your place in a track listen to something else then go back to your same spot in the other track (an essential feature for podcasts and audiobooks which I listen to more than music.)?

To be clear, I'm asking about the paid version. The free version is a great little program for listening to music and watching Youtube. It seems to have a tiny footprint. I'm wondering if the full version remains as compact. The free version it doesn't bookmark or play DRMs. Plus, I can't figure out how to pause the music when a call comes in. It currently plays softly in the background. This is fine for music, but kind of a problem when I'm driving and listening to podcasts or audiobooks. Having to pause manually while driving is not cool. Having to rewind to where you left off is even worse.
