Default TCPMP audio codec not supported??

Hey guys,

I have downloaded every TCPMP I could find but none work. When I try to play a video I recorded with my camera, its says: PLayer: Audio codec (Qualcomm Q CELP) not supported by the player!

I have v.72 now (have tried .66 and .71) and they all say the same thing. Please help because I can not stand WMP.

Thanks

If you look around on this forum, everyone has that problem. It's either TCPMP for full screen but no sound or WMP for sound, but only 75% of the screen is utilized (if that).

The point of my post was an answer to your question. Was such a rude response necessary?

To put it more simply and succinctly:

The audio encoded in the 3gp video files created by your phone is not decodable by any free TCPMP players currently available online.

It is quite possible that the new commerical version (CorePlayer) supports it.

Have you actually seen a post by someone that says they are receiving audio from their recorded videos out of TCPMP? From the results of this thread, nobody has been able to get TCPMP to get audio out of our device-generated 3gp files.

So VTDr0p0ut did just that, try to help you by letting you know this is a common problem.

At this rate, who's going to want to help an ingrate?

Just some food for thought, you might want to show a little more respect towards those who assist you.
