I'm using the Tasks function on Outlook to stay on top of projects and deadlines. I use two PCs, one running Vista and the other running XP, plus a Q 9c.
Things seem like they work okay, except for the reminders. My phone had alert after syncing today for a reminder I set for May. I constantly am alerted with reminders whenever I sync, regardless if I'm supposed to be.
My guess is that there is a better program for managing tasks than Outlook and am seeking recommendations. Here are my requirements:
- I must be able to manage tasks directly on my PC (both on Vista and XP)
- I want reminders to alert me and be able to see the tasks by reminder date
- Obviously, I need to be able to manage and enter tasks on my Q as well
- I want the ability to attached emails from Outlook the tasks
Any suggestions/recommendations?
(If there is a way to resolve the alert problem on the Q, that will work fine as well)
