i might do that also.... works very good i must say, like the fact that you can switch to the running tasks, i mean with the build-in one you could see the tasks since it was running but you could switch to it..

Default after some more testing...

i have noticed that the program is not always acurate..

1. it does not see itself running while it is.
2. poutlook.exe was running earlier according to the build in task manager, WM5 Task Manager Q 320x240 did not see it.
3. currently the Q is hooked up to the laptop, 4 programs running (Remote API Client, tcmd.exe, Text Messages & WM5 Task Manager) WM5 Task Manager Q 320x240 doesn't see any, not even after several Refreshes (*)

- was this maybe too good to be true ?
- anybody have these issues ?

I installed this program on my Q but it won't run because I "require a newer version of the Microsoft .NET Compact Framework than the version installed on this device"...

Is this "newer" version easy to install on my Q without messing any other item I have installed??

I did a Google search and went to a Microsoft site that had the file to download but it was almost 25MB.. this seems a bit large for the Q...

Is there a CAB file that I can drag to my Q and install this "new" program like I did for this "Task Manager" program??

Thanks for your help...

Tomsey...

Tomsey...

That is the file, I thought it was too big also. But, what it does is install on your desktop, then at some point in the installation, sets it up to install on your Q the next time you sync, so that is the right one.

i have noticed that the WM5 Task Manager shows up under 'processes' and not tasks...while in this task manager application. i suppose it acts like the default manager where as you dont see that running when you are killing apps....
(yea it took me a while to get around to this)

no worries that it took a while... currently i am not using it, it thought it caused the issue i had before the Master Reset. so far the issue i had before the MR occurred twice (or was it 3) anyway.. for the moment i am sticking with the build-in Task Manager.

you're still using this one with success ?
