Default Syncs OK a few times then I need reboot

Q9 sinks well for a few times then will not connect. Usually happens in the same day. I have to reboot to get it to connect and sync again. Once synced I don't have any problems.

Thanks, Jim

do you get error messages?
do you pull the Q from the USB cable in the middle of syncing at anytime?

Thanks for replying.
No, I carefully leave it connected.
Just after booting up the sync works just fine for several syncs. Then, maybe a few hours later it won't "connect" to beging the sync again.

I've tried to isolate different things such as, before and after I go to the internet.

I'm on a small (5 station) company network.
Any more thoughts?

Jim

when you say several syncs you mean unplugging and plugging back in at a later point in time?

Yes. Unplugging and coming back an hour or two later and trying to sync again.

i suppose you could delete the partnership with active sync and then test it out a few times again and see if it still does it

What do you mean by "deleting" the partnership?

open active sync on your PC
go to
file
delete mobile device

this will force active sync to find the device again and basically start the sync over

you wont loose any data....
make sure your PC is up to date and you will be set

Scott,

Thanks again. My partner is suggesting that I may also not be turning my phone off frequently enough. Same with my computer. Could this have an effect?
