Default Strength Training/Weightlifting Software for Q with WM5?

I've searched the forums here and elsewhere and come up with nada. Qusers.com is fried so I'm posting here.

There are several kinds of general workout software for the Q/WM5 that let you track calories, workouts, etc. These are good for general use, but what I'm looking for specifically is an application that targets weight lifting or strength training that lets me enter in different exercises into my calendar, then record how many reps I did and at what weight on a specific day so I can track my results and goals and adjust accordingly. If this is bolted into a general workout app that would be fine, but standalone is just as good.

Does such software exist? I'd love to ditch the pen and paper method as I'm usually fiddling with my phone between sets to change what music I'm streaming or send texts anyway. Having the ability to log reps into my phone would let me pace myself between sets while I cool down without staring at the floor or grabbing my tattered notebook and writing it down only to put it in excel later.

Help? Thanks in advance.

Should have put a ? at the end. Mods change?

I could probably hack something together in VB for this but I'd much rather reap the rewards of someone else's efforts :P

i havent dl'd the trial...maybe u do it first and give a review :-) Gawd i am lazy tonight but i have every reason to be.

Hope its useful. Seems to encompass alot in the description....Oh man ill go dl it lol, now im curious!

Was i reading right that u use your Q as a music player? one of the many benefits of thr Q, i watch videos sometimes doing cardio (i get bored) or txt if im not in some "zone". I avoid those distractions lifting that is a whole realm of concentration. Music helps drown out the grutting men or plate droppers.

I've used something similar to that... I need to d/l and see if it has a weightlifting-specific feature. Looks nice from the description, and thanks.

I listen to my own music when I lift. The radio isn't friendly to the kind of music that gets me motivated If you have unlimited data, Orb is an outstanding program that runs on your home PC and streams whatever you've got in your library out to any device, including a browser-enabled phone. It can be testy sometimes, but beats the **** out of slowly downloading stuff to my phone just for workouts. With Orb I can stream all of my mp3's at will.

Even us dudes get sick of the grunting plate-droppers. Even worse is the dudes who do curls while they look themselves in the eye in the mirror. It's creepy as ****. Makes me want to wipe down the weights they used before I pick them up. Errg.

it looks like a good app for weight loss....but not weightlifting specific.
its too broad from what i see. no where to list sets or reps, or body parts for that matter. maybe i missed that part, i will look again.

orb is cool, i still have a pretty hefty collection of music on my storage card. i wouldnt do radio i agree music not motivating. In my case my bt headset went dead listening to Heart.....dont ever let the headset die....i turned probably 10 shades of red since i was the only female in the surrounding area at that point...was funny tho.

haha @ the eye ballers lol...eww haha. People who dont rack or stack their weights. I refuse to lift 100 lb plates lol (probably cant any way) is a pet peeve of mine. My daughter was with me yesterday and we were working what she called weanie weights because they were so light she figured someone we know who is a a weanie would use them. But then some dude started grunting and we agreed he was working the weanie weights but from an entirely different perspective....that kept us amused for quite a while. lol

if you find a software be sure to come back and share it. I dont think this one has what you are looking for :-(

I thought of that too...but if you dont have like docs to go or something it would make it useless.

I have not personally used this, but it seems to get good reviews. If you are a runner, they also have a GPS add-on that will track distances covered.
