Sprite Backup

how long does it normally take to back up your q for the first time. mine has been running all night and it still is not done. i would hate to just have to hard reset it without being able to back it up. i have sprite installed on both my q and my pc. can somebody tell what might be wrong.

Trial version or Full version? The trial version worked like a charm; took about a minute or two. Makes me think yours has a glitch...however the full version does not work at all (running only on the Q) and I've had littke help from the seller and no response from the developer. Not much help for you, you're thinking right now!! Will admit that DrQ seems to be the resident expert...he offered me needed assistance.

Takes about five minutes all and all. It makes my sd icon disappear!!! argh. The phone has to reset to complete the process.
I would remove and reinstall the app. I had to when I was testing a few different backup solutions and now it works great (except for the icon disappearing trick)

Tony BoD > are yourunning on the QOnly? Did you need a seperate SC with only Sprite on it to initiate BackUp or what!! Love the product (trial version) but hate to throw money (almost half-day pay) away 'cause it wont wont work.

Running on a q9m. Running on same card that has my apps, etc.
It wasn't scheduling right, so I removed the program entirely. Then I restarted the phone. Then I installed it. I disabled everything on the phone like screen off, etc. to monitor the program. Ran the backup. It worked fine, then I tried it with a scheduled time and it worked as well. Then I set the phone to the way I wanted and no problems so far.

I don't know if you can restore individual files with this program though.

i used the trial version and it did not seem to work then i bought the full version and it does not seem to work. so it was a hard reset for me and then typing all my numbers back in again. lucky for me i do have all my other programs on my home pc so i can sync it again and get them back.
thanks for everyones help. now that i have a fresh start maybe it will work now.

do i need to install it both on my pc and my q phone for it to work...

Actually installing it from the pc is how I got it to work.
Every other program I install the cab file on the device.

Ooohhh. Now that will make a difference, I'm sure. My problem now will be getting (copy?) Sprite from Q to the non-existant PC. That ASUS Eee is starting to look fine!
