software update error

my q seems to disconnect from my pc and when reset remains in flash mode as opposed to returning to normal functionality.

When attempting the update multiple times, theq freezes with the following screen:

Motorola RAM Downloader
AP RAM Downloader Version:
RAM_CDMA_03.09.01R_MPAP
AP Erase Failed
Complete format failed
BP is formatting

Can anyone help me out on this? I need the use of my phone.

Yeah, it ended up being a software problem with my phone and motorola told me to return it to verizon and exchange it for a new Q. So tha's what I did and exchanged it for a black one while I was at it.

where did u guys get the new software from? Ive been searchin like crazy for it. And how did u install it once u got it?
