| Software Request: Scrolling Message App! Can/has anyone done this? Simple concept... type the message in, it scrolls "scoreboard-style" across the display. Could be simple black-on-white or white-on-black, or have color options. Could have font, scroll speed, looping, etc. choices, too.
Would be fun to have in a crowd, noisy place...

| What I have in mind is letters as big and readable as possible scrolling across at a comfortable reading rate... so if you want to tell the jackass who just cut you off to go you-know-what himself at the next red light you can ;) OK not a good idea...
Brings to mind another possible option... "Read in Rearview Mirror" mode where everything's reversed (like the nose of an ambulance). Guess I am asking for trouble hehe.
EDIT: Let's have a mode to flash alternate red and blue, too... "stupid Q auto tricks"
EDIT AGAIN: Obvious feature: save canned phrases

| Like a Marquee? I did a few Google searches and found nothing. Looks like someone's gonna have to write it. Probably nothing too complicated, just base it off the Windows Marquess screensaver. |

| Hey,
Just make a webpage using the marquee tag, and go there via PIE on your Q. You could setup links for different phrases and all that jazz.
Later,
Matt

-SFMQ | a marquee from html might not work on the Q... if it does, yea that sounds like a plan :}

| Well,
There's only one way to find out -- if you are on your Q, click here: MARQUEE SCROLL.
Let us know,
Matt! |
