Question Software Request: Scrolling Message App!

Can/has anyone done this? Simple concept... type the message in, it scrolls "scoreboard-style" across the display. Could be simple black-on-white or white-on-black, or have color options. Could have font, scroll speed, looping, etc. choices, too.

Would be fun to have in a crowd, noisy place...

What I have in mind is letters as big and readable as possible scrolling across at a comfortable reading rate... so if you want to tell the jackass who just cut you off to go you-know-what himself at the next red light you can ;) OK not a good idea...

Brings to mind another possible option... "Read in Rearview Mirror" mode where everything's reversed (like the nose of an ambulance). Guess I am asking for trouble hehe.

EDIT: Let's have a mode to flash alternate red and blue, too... "stupid Q auto tricks"

EDIT AGAIN: Obvious feature: save canned phrases

Like a Marquee? I did a few Google searches and found nothing. Looks like someone's gonna have to write it. Probably nothing too complicated, just base it off the Windows Marquess screensaver.

Hey,

Just make a webpage using the marquee tag, and go there via PIE on your Q. You could setup links for different phrases and all that jazz.

Later,

Matt

Well,

There's only one way to find out -- if you are on your Q, click here: MARQUEE SCROLL.

Let us know,

Matt!
