Default software cost stacking up

I love my Q!
Though I find it difficult to not be overwhelmed by it.
It took me about a month to figure out some of the things that I can do to adapt it to me...I'm not a big gadget person I leave that to my bf (who is in IT)...I kinda looked at my Q as an object from outer space. I have messed very little with the inner workings of my Q spent most of my time looking for various softwares that would enhance my needs and uses... such as audio books, check book registries, a game or two...I would love a mobile radio...The one major issue I have is that I am a thrifty person. I hate to spend money on software!!!!!! Such as an AIM client that in every other circumstance I could get for Free!!! WHAT's up with that!!!!
So far I have downloaded free trials to many different things.
Such as Audible.com for my audio books. Adobe for regular books. bankurama for my check book registry, flexwallet (that has more stuff in it that I won't use but couple of helpful things). I don't need my Q for an agenda...I'm not a heavy business user...I have no problems remembering the things I need to do for the day...
I have so many things on here trying to find what works for me but by the time I'm done I'll spend more money on Software then I did on the phone...I have a problem with that...Any suggestions?????

welcome aboard... and yeah, it can be costly but to me it's worth it, so far i have only purchased one program i would not buy again, i see that one as a lesson.

with the fact that a lot of software costs money kicks in be selective and wonder if you really need it... in some cases there are free alternatives.

Default trial software

Thanks for the link

In most of my searches for software I have only downloaded trials to insure before I stress my bank account in purchaseing copious amounts of software I won't like or use...So far I have found only one that I really want to keep. Bankarama is the only one I am happy to fork out $18 for.

Here's a question. I have flexwallet right now and I like it ok but I really want something that has more useable content. I like the ability to keep track of all the household bank accounts but I find myself disapointed in it...Any suggestions?

also in order to keep my Q streamlined and not slow it down. I want a program that will hold and do as much as possible without having to keep multiple programs...
