SMSBubbles and PushEffect Conflict

I tried searching, but couldn't find anything.
I'm sure others are using SMsBubbles with PushEffect with no problems. The only way I can get PE to work is if Bubbles is turned off. As soon as I turn Bubbles back on, it is grabbing the message from my e-mail instead of PE. How has everyone else gotten around this?

sorry I don't use either of those, but I would report that to the maker of both programs so they can pass it along to the developers to look into.

i use both with no issues. verify you are using valid keywords to differenciate email from text messages...

I have my e-mail address set up in the sender area as the keyword, and works perfectly without SMSBubbles, but not with. Any ideas rb?

For some more info, I'm using FastMail to send a notification e-mail to my phone when I receive an e-mail. With the bubbles turned off, no problems with PE picking up my mail. But as soon as I re-activate bubbles, bubbles picks up the message instead of PE. I've tried turning the phone off and back on again as well, but to no avail. Maybe Qore will stop by and comment in a bit.

rb, what order did you install PE and SMSBubbles? I had bubbles on before PE.
Still scratching my head on this one, maybe a reinstall might be in order.

same as rb...zero issues! I had PE installed way before bubbles!

iText would see the hidden sms but pe still did its thing...bubbles though totally ignores it for me!

Well, that settles it. Try an uninstall and re-install with PE first and if that doesn't work, do a MR and reinstall everything. (Luckily I only have a handful of apps so far. Really need to start using Sprite since I do have it.)

Well, that seems to be it. Surprised no one else came across this problem before.
The solution is to install PushEffect first and SMSBubbles afterwards.
Works like a charm now. Just need to figure out a way to get it to work with my work e-mail now so I can justify it as a business expense. Granted, it's worth the cost, but if I can get work to pay for it, why not? Don't want to get too hackish with it. I think I have a solution, and if not, I could use a new FastMail account since mine's pretty Spamy.
PS: Since I can't edit posts on the Q, if rb or Scott can add Solved to the end of the thread name, that'd be great. If not, I'll get it next time I'm on from a PC.

glad it worked that way for you.... but i had SMS Bubbles installed and working way before i started using PE.
