Default SMS Software

In my continual hunt for a piece of software that will allow me to set user specific ring tones for when I receive a txt message from them I have found two pieces of software that claim such a thing.

1. This is Skb SMS manager and the new version that is due to be released next month has that functionality. So still a little while to wait but when it is released it appears that it will have a trial version to try out first.

2. Then there is this DBG Text Message Manager again it claims to do what I need and is available now but there is no demo version of it. :-( Does anyone on here have this and can tell me how well it works?

I'm desperate for such an application but don't want to spend money with a little more knowledge!

Thanks in advance

Craig

All of my phones before getting smart phones allowed this. I think Microsoft dropped the ball.

I know, even my wife's phone does and she continually reminds me about it!

Yep. I bought it for the auto-switching profiles based on appointment categories and for the call filtering, but I remember the ringtones apply to both calls and SMS messages.

I've taken the plunge already as I've been using a previous version of Photo Contacts Pro but wasn't aware that this updated version had this new feature. Thanks for the heads up on this it GREAT.
