Default ScummVM

Kind of a stupid question and I should probably post this on the SCUMMVM forum, but has anyone gotten SCUMMVM for WM5 to run on their Q?

Is anyone even excited about the prospect of playing.. oh.. Monkey Island or DOTT or Broken Sword or any of the other classic LucasArts games on their Q?

Day of the Tentacle! Hazaa! but i thought these games were point-and-click based. if they do end up playing, i don't see how they could replace the mouse functions.

They have a version for PSP, so I'd assume the virtual machine creates its own "mouse" pointer.

Lightbulb

Also i remember back in the day, playing monkey island I and Loom and using the directional keys to control the cursor. Good times, let's see if we can get it on our Qs!

That's what I got when I tried it as well.

I guess us Q owners will just have to make our voices heard over at ScummVM forums and hope they include support for the Q in upcoming versions.

Default ScummVM is now available for the Q!!!!!!!!!

It's a little bit of work but it can be done.

1. First download the Window CE ARM package by clicking here
2. Unzip the files
3. Using ActiveSync explore the your Q drive
4. Create a folder (I called mine SCUMM)
5. Copy all the files over.
6. on your Q using File Manager navigate to the SCUMM folder and launch SCUMMVM
7. The keys will be messed up(up will be left, Down Right ......)
8. navigate to quit to exit out this will create a SCUMMVM.ini file
9. You need to replace the key mapping with with different ones to get the games to work correctly. for more help click here
10. After that copy your games to your Q and it should work. Some games need more help there is a great guide.

If you need more help getting these games to work the people at the SCUMMVM forums are great.
