 |  Saving Contacts before Master Reset.. Im currently trying to save my contacts so i can perform a Master Reset. How can i go about in saving my contacts because this is driving me crazy. Note. I am running Windows Vista VZaccess manager never worked on my CPU becuase it kept failing to read the phone was connected via USB. Sprite only works for Pocket PC's according to my Q during installation. Please help so i can do this reset, everytime i hit the camera button it flashes the screen and goes back to the home screen plus my Q freezes all the time. Help is greatly appreciated |

   |  Sprite works with the Q... but make sure (i never tested) i think i read somewhere that Sprite does not backup contacts. don't you have/use Outlook ? contacts can be easily restored from Outlook -> Q.

 | in active sync under options..check the contacts and anyother things you want sync'd...it will copy the files to outlook and youll be all set just make sure you use outlook for the first time...basically open it up and you dont have to put any email info in it...

| I have Vista and had a hard time syncing my contacts since 95% of this forum is not on Vista and doesn't really understand why it can be so difficult. What I ended up doing was opening outlook for the first time and setting up a few things. The next time I plugged the phone up via USB it automatically synced it. After setting up with Outlook 2007 make sure you have 'contacts' selected on items to autosync with windows mobile |
