Default Save attachment in e-mail?

Can I save an attachment that I've received in e-mail to my storage card?
I loaded Activesync and tried that way also but can't seem to see the storage card to copy to???

By the way, the extended battery gives the Q a whole new life!

Yes, but its not pretty. When you have the email on the Q, go to File Manager and nav to \Application Data\Volatile. You should see your attachment there - Menu\File\Copy To. Then, nav down to your Storage card folder (or into a subfolder, if you like), and hit Done.

Thanks...I can view the file in the e-mail but when I go to Volatile, I get 3 folders:
XMEInst000304E0-424BCA6 and 2 more just like it. My files aren't in any of the 3??? could they be somewhere else?

I used the search option and it came back with 0 files found.

Thanks

Hmm.

I didn't have any issues in seeing my files - are you downloading the full email message (found in your options for your email setup page 3 or 4)?

Yes, I selected "ALL" Size limit is 1 Meg, file is 18K... I receive it, can view it, it has the same name in the e-mail...it must be somewhere!

Well that's a bummer - sorry. I'll play with this a bit more later and let you know if I can think of anything else.

My attachments don't show up unless I try to open them on the Q. Once I open them, they appear in the \Application Data\Volatile folder (directly, no sub-folder). Have you tried opening them first THEN checking the folder?

You can skip the requirement to open the attachments first (like in the case of attachments with no launching program) by navigating, with file manager (or equivalent) to \Windows\Messaging\Attachments.
