Sandisk 4GB and 8GB

I was in a Staples earlier today and noticed they have Sandisk mini SD's on sale. Pretty good price if don't want to get one online.

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up.

4GB is 19.99
8GB is 24.99

Thanks to this board and all the information, I went ahead and got one of each. I keep using my Q for more and more things. Thank You.

Will these actually work? I thought the limit was 2gb and the 4gb and up cards were all the High Capacity SD cards which do not work with the Q...

I haven't used either yet, hope so. I have a Q9c if that makes any difference.

I have seen posts saying the phone is not showing the card as an 8GB, but didn't read any further to see the outcome.

I will try one this evening.

I thought there was a SD card fix .CAB out that will make sure the full 8GB would be recognized. I think I saved it to my Q programs on the desktop.

if you have a Q9c (or h or m) you don't need to install SDHC.cab, they are designed for up to 32GB. I'm running an 8GB card in my Q9c right now.

Just a heads up.. I checked the flyer for Staples and the cards on sale are the standard SD card and the micro SD card...
