Hi Matt,
My settings under <auto update> are "when network available" and "30 minutes." Updates take place completely auto...no need to hit <refresh>.

Remember this:
**NewsBreak uses both the auto update period you set here and the refresh period for each channel to determine when refreshes occur. When the auto update period expires and a network connection is available or can be made, NewsBreak checks each channel to see if it is time for that channel to be refreshed. A refresh for each channel will be initiated only if the refresh period for that channel has expired.**

Ok, so if the channel only "refreshes" or updates itself once every 6 hours -- then ME refreshing every 30 minutes will produce no results, obviously...

Matt!

Default Mobile Reader

So Is there a reader out there that only reads Mobile sites? I have been using newsbreak and all of a sudden it just stopped working.

So I want a reader that only looks at mobile sites, so If I click on read more it does not take me to the main webpage that takes forever to load and displays all jacked up.

Any suggestions? Am I just setting this up wrong?

So it seems theres Newsbreak which I currently use now, Viigo, and mdigger

Now I like the ability to automatically download the stuff, but I have all that turned off cuz i didn't want the damn program running all the darn time, and just use refresh.

However, this program lacks an exit button which is a huge peeve, and has an extreme difficulty with yahoo feeds. But doesn't display the feed either.

Newsbreak is nice because you don't need to login and crap, and the ability to add new feeds by simply searching livesearch of sindic8 is nice.

Anyway....this seems to be the best program out there right now for me....any other suggestions? I am a news junkie so I love my rss feed program!

i dig Viigo... it does have an exit button, no need to login, i don't have Yahoo feeds so can't say anything about those.
