Yeah, I did that. It seems like it is completely off the system but the right softkey (only when in the home screen) lost its shortcut. the exact error I get is " Error opening the shortcut or locating the target filename."

Should I try installing and uninstalling again?

One note is that the "Run on Start" option they talk about in the other threads is listed as "AutoRun" on my copy of RightMenu (downloaded from N99Hockey's website).

Thanks,

daggett003

from what i understand before you uninstall you have to make sure to uncheck the usage of either of the 2 soft keys, that is the key (no pun intended)

Okay, so I decided to try the SmartToolkit Alpha cuz I didn't have no .bmp file and cuz I couldn't figure out how to ever GET to the Start Menu proper when using the Left RightKey.

I went into Options and unchecked everything.

So now I get this when I press the Start key:

I don't see anyplace to uninstall it... maybe I should run the .exe again?
Reboot?

EDIT: Reboot worked
Feeling pretty stupid right about now.

Looks interesting. I was able to go back and find the .zip file and therefore the .bmp file. So, that's working better.

But, I still would like to be able to access the "real" Start menu from the L key and the only way I could think of was to try to do a Popup to the /Windows/Start Menu folder, but it won't show up...

I *don't* want to have to do a Shortcut to every .lnk I have. Any other way to get to the programs than thru Start?

P.S. thanks for the other. I posted in that thread... it looks very B&W though.

i made my like a windows start menu
only downside was the original setup took a while as you had to select each .lnk file and place it where you want it to go...
i have an image of it somewhere...maybe even in this thread
