Default Removing Icons from the Moto Q

I downloaded a program "City Time Alarms" from HelloMotoQ site that didn't work. I deleted the program but now I can't get rid of the icon. Oh, and it change my font in the File Manager program.

Any ideas on how to remove icons from the start screen?

What can be done for the opposite of this? I was fooling around with the wireless messaging feature and it changed a lot of things, even the look of my home screen. Also, I had a two way communication looking icon instead of the antenna with strength bar looking icon at the top of the screen. I panicked (thinking I was incurring charges?)and I believe I deleted the ability (probably the program as well) to use this feature. All the icons in the Start window after the downloads one have moved up a spot. I now also have a phone receiver sitting on top of an envelope icon on the top bar that I assume means I have an outlook message, but since I can't open wireless messaging, I can't retreive the message. Even if I am not going to use this feature, I would like my Q to be like it was, so what do I do now? Please help.

Yes, thats what I meant, sorry. It used to be the third icon in the start window and now it''s gone. Also then, what does the icon made up of a phone receiver on top of an envelope mean? I looked in messaging and I have no messages, but that icon is on the very top bar of my home screen, and it didn't used to be. It seems to have only recently appered, shortly after I messed with the wireless sync. I still want to know how to get wireless sync back as well. Thanks.
